The Allplane Podcast #42 - with magniX CEO, Roei Ganzarski

If you have been following the electric aviation scene lately, a name keeps popping up all the time: magniX.

To the point that, right when I was editing this podcast, the news came out that magniX is partnering with Vancouver-based Harbour Air and André Borschberg’s Swiss-based H55 venture (a past guest of this podcast!) to certify the first all-electric commercial plane.

In fact, magniX electric motors have been selected to power a whole range of zero carbon aircraft projects currently under development. Whether battery-based, such as Harbour Air’s eBeaver, hybrid, like Faradair’s Beha or using a hydrogen fuel cell, like Universal Hydrogen, it is a magniX electric motor that they are spinning.

In the last few months I have been honoured to host some of these pioneers of green aviation here, on this podcast, so I thought it was just about time I got to speak with magniX to learn more about this firm and see what it is all about.

So Roei Ganzarski, CEO of magniX, volunteered to come on the podcast and share some insights about their technology and views for the future of the electric aviation industry.

Check in for a very interesting conversation with a person with deep expertise of aviation and technology (he’s also got years of experience at Boeing and deep tech startups) who is also familiar, and has been directly involved, with some of the most interesting green aircraft projects currently under development all over the world!
