New podcast episode with Simon I. Briceno, CCO of Jaunt Air Mobility
Simon I. Briceno is the CCO of Jaunt Air Mobility, an advanced air mobility startup that is pursuing a rather unique approach.
In this episode of the podcast Simon shares some details of the hybrid, rotor and wing, concept that Jaunt is developing, a structural and aerodynamic solution that, he states, provides the best of both worlds, fixed wing aircraft and helicopters, while running 100% on electric batteries.
By combining the rotor for vertical lift and distributed propulsion for cruise flight, Jaunt expects to address some of the most pressing challenges most other eVTOLs face while providing an additional degree of safety.
In addition to the aircraft, Jaunt is also working with multiple partners to create a whole ecosystem that makes possible the launch of commercial services for regional air mobility from 2026 onwards, starting in Québec and then the rest of Canada and other countries.
Ambitious? certainly, but the credentials of Jaunt’s founding team in the field of aerospace engineering are hard to beat.
Tune in for some fascinating insights into one of the most interesting projects that are currently taking shape in the advanced air mobility space!
