The Allplane Podcast #68 - with Simon I. Briceno, CCO Jaunt Air Mobility

Jaunt Air Mobility is one of the most interesting projects currently in the advanced air mobility space.

In the increasingly crowded eVTOL landscape, Jaunt Air Mobility stands out with some unique traits.

The moment you see their concept aircraft you will notice the unusual propulsion arrangement: is it a fixed-winged aircraft? is it a rotorcraft? well…it is a bit of both! And this is what gives Jaunt its unique edge, particularly when it comes to its safety and efficiency credentials.

Simon I. Briceno’s job as CCO of Jaunt Air Mobility is to convince operators all over the globe that Jaunt’s is the safer and, ultimately, faster way to get into the new advanced air mobility era. The firm has already received a over 175 orders for its 4-seater eVTOL and is also working with a number of partners to develop the ecosystem that will make it possible to roll it out at scale.

We talk with Simon about the origins of the Jaunt project, about the very experienced team that is piloting it, about its choice of base of operations in Quebec and about the many interesting technical aspects of this very innovative concept, from the lightweight materials to the super-quiet top rotor and the way it will transition from vertical lift to horizontal flight.

Do not miss this episode if you are interested in the future of urban and regional air mobility and tune in to listen to Simon I. Brice, CCO of Jaunt Air Mobility!
