Flight Review: Air France Economy Class (A320)

Sometimes the absence of anything big to report is actually the best sign that everything is allright...and this is actually my impression after this, relatively short, flight on Air France economy class between Barcelona and Paris Charles de Gaulle, that came and went almost without noticing.

Flight #: AF1649

From: Barcelona- El Prat (BCN)

To: Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG)

Flight time: 1h 55min

Aircraft: Airbus A320

The cabin decor and style reminded me a lot that of Alitalia, definitely darker colours than the last time I flew Air France, but rather elegant, I liked it...Style trend o a Sky Team thing?

Decent seat pitch, observe how I do not touch the magazine folder at all, and I have long legs!

Best brownie I have ever eaten on a plane!

This being a 3pm 1.5h-long flight there was not much in the way of in-flight catering, but the little that was, it was really good: tasty French wine and an even more tasty delicious brownie.

Touch down and taxiing at Charles de Gaulle airport...some threatening clouds there (it started to rain the moment I stepped out of the terminal)

Our take:

All good.

Flight on time, cabin was modern and clean, crew were attentive throughout the flight and the food and drink they served was good. Granted, a brownie and a glass of wine is not much, but this is ok on a 1.5h flight in mid-afternoon.
