New livery for Rossiya Airlines

If the "new", unified, Rossiya Airlines, already with Orenair and Donavia formally incorporated, started up just a few days ago, today it was the turn of its new livery.

As you will see, the first aircraft sporting the new colours is a Boeing 747-400, one of the former Transaero jumbos that were passed on to Aeroflot.

The new livery, which reminds me a bit of Vueling's but in red tones, represents quite a radical departure from the very old-fashioned, almost institutional, former one (that is, despite the occasional special design!).

It may already be in the rebranding plan, but, in my opinion, it would be a good moment for Rossiya Airlines to update its logo too!
