New podcast episode with Natilus founder, Aleksey Matyushev

Aleksey Matyushev is the founder and CEO of Natilus, a startup based in San Diego, California, that aims to disrupt the market for cargo aircraft.

And how does he plan to do so?

With a clean-sheet family of blended-wing-body (BWB) aircraft. Yes, you read that right!

And not only that, in addition to opting for this futuristic looking concept (although its principles have actually been known for decades), Natilus team is also developing autonomous flights and hydrogen propulsion capabilities for its future aircraft.

These aircraft will come in three sizes from the smallest, “Kona”, capable of carrying a 3.8 ton payload, to the trans-continental “Nordes”, which will have roughly the payload of a B777F.

All of this sounds like an incredibly bold and challenging project, but prominent Silicon Valley investors and major players in the air cargo world have placed their confidence in Natilus, backing it with dollars and aircraft orders.

How is Aleksey and his team at Natilus planning to make Natilus a reality before this decade is over? To find out you will have to listen to today’s episode of the podcast!
