New podcast episode with George Alafinov, founder of electric seaplane maker Jekta

George Alafinov is the founder of Jekta, a Swiss company that is working on an all-electric, seaplane.

I find somehow fascinating the idea that seaplanes, one of the oldest forms of passenger air transport, are also ready to join the electrification wave that is sweeping through the aviation industry.

So, I invited George to the podcast to try to learn more about this intriguing project.

Listen to this episode of the podcast to learn how George’s startup is leveraging his previous experience as a seaplane designer and some clever new tech to make sure we get battery-powered seaplanes before the end of this decades.

In the meantime, Jekta has already started to rack up orders for its PHA-ZE 100 19-seater seaplane!
