New podcast episode: Jean-Marc Bourreau (Consulum): harmonizing air travel requirements

Jean-Marc Bourreau is a partner at Consulum, a government advisory firm that has been instrumental in the elaboration of the “Harmonising Air Travel” Policy White Paper.

This document is being promoted by the Saudi Arabian civilian aviation authority as a way to develop a clear and transparent international framework to deal with the different travel requirements that states may implement in response to, for example, a pandemic.

The White Paper was. first presented at the inaugural Future Aviation Forum, which took place in Riyadh last May, and is going to be presented at the upcoming ICAO annual plenary session.

In this episode of the podcast, Jean-Marc, as someone that has directly involved in this project, shares some insights about what an harmonization of air travel requirements might mean for airline passengers and which are the next steps ahead for it to become a reality.
