LOT and its increasingly diverse Transatlantic network, on The Points Guy

Polish flag carrier LOT has its main hub at Warsaw Chopin airport, but it doesn’t shy away from exploring other growth opportunities in Eastern Europe.

A particular interesting aspect of LOT’s operations is how it employs its 15-strong Dreamliner fleet to connect other Polish cities as well as the Hungarian capital Budapest to several North American destinations, particularly those with numerous Polish communities.

While LOT’s eastward expansion has been seriously curtailed by the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the transatlantic market continues to be fertile ground for further expansion.
