New podcast episode: Post-pandemic aviation, with Pere Suau-Sánchez
How the aviation industry is going to look like after this devastating pandemic?
Lots of people are making guesses, speculating…the truth is: no one knows! But at least some have set to look at the numbers and research this issue methodically.
Pere Suau-Sánchez is a long-time aviation researcher, he’s a Senior Lecturer in Air Transport Management, Cranfield University (UK) and an Associate Professor in Business and Economics, Open University of Catalonia (Spain). He is also the co-author of an academic paper titled “An early assessment of the impact of COVID-19 on air transport: Just another crisis or the end of aviation as we know it?”
The name says it all, isn’t it?
I called Pere to review the findings of his research and get some insights about the immediate prospects for the commercial aviation industry.
