On The Points Guy: up and close with the Airbus Beluga

The Airbus Beluga, be it in its classic, A300-600ST, or the new XL version, is an incredibly fascinating aircraft.

Last month, during a visit to Airbus HQ in Toulouse, France, I was granted the rare privilege to see, first-hand, how one of these weird-looking, whale-shaped machines operates.

Not content with shooting some pictures and video of the unloading and loading of an Airbus Beluga that had just arrived from Finkenwerder (Hamburg) with A330 sections, I wrote also a chronicle of the occasion for The Points Guy.

If you wish to learn more about how the Beluga does its work, check it out here!

And, now that you are at it, you may want to check these other Beluga articles as well!
