Ryanair finally joins Facebook!
It took a while, but the Irish low cost airline has finally opened its Facebook account.
Ryanair has not exactly rushing to embrace social media, it just opened its Twitter account as late as September 2013...but, well, when you the market cost and price leader, make the headlines every other day and carry about 90M passengers per year, this possibly comes up as an afterthought.
Nevertheless, Ryanair seems keen to build its follower base quickly and has even launched a promotional campaign on its brand-new Facebook page: the #30names30planes competition, giving you (and 29 others) the chance to get your face and your name on one of its aircraft. So I guess we'll soon see some people's faces at airports all over Europe...!
