Widerøe offers unlimited air travel within Norway for a flat fee
Norway is one of the most stunningly beautiful countries I have ever been to...But all this beauty comes at a cost, its extremely rugged coastline makes road trips quite a long and time-consuming endeavour. Many visit by sea, with many cruise ships or the traditional Hurtigruten boat route plying the Northern waters.
However, you might also chose to move around by plane. In that case, Norway's Widerøe, a regional airline operating a fleet of 42 Bombardier Dash 8 turboprops, has quite an interesting proposal for you.
The Explore Norway ticket gives you unlimited travel within Widerøe's dense regional network.
For a flat fee you can take as many flights as you wish (with some minor restrictions) for a period of two weeks. Wideroe has divided Norway in 3 zones, not unlike the fare structure you find in some metropolitan transport systems, the London tube being a case in point.
Considering that Norway is one of the most expensive countries in the World, the prices look quite competitive to me (that is provided you make full use of the ticket): flat fee fare for 1 zone (€345), 2 zones (€420) or the whole of Norway (€493). You can also buy an additional week extension (€220).
