British Airways' Interactive Billboard or the Wonder of Flying

You do not need to be an aviation enthusiast to marvel at planes flying, and for most of us, seeing an aircraft overhead leads inevitably to the same thought: "Where is this aircraft flying to?"

If you happen to be in Chiswick, London or in Picadilly, you can get an answer to this question, as British Airways, in collaboration with adveritsing and marketing agency OgilvyOne, has installed interactive video billboards that tell light up when a BA aircraft passes overhead and lets passers by know what that flight is and where is it flying to, in addition to some extra information of flight fares and weather conditions at the city of destination.

To judge by the online reaction, BA's #lookup campaign must have been one of the most successful airline marketing campaigns I have seen in recent times!
