KLM uses one of its MD-11s for cinema sessions

A very special cinema...

Even if at risk of starting to look too much of a KLM fan-boy, I can't resist writing about the Dutch airline's latest marketing stunt, particularly as it involves an aircraft type that really fascinates me:  the MD-11.

I have never been on-board an MD-11 (and given the fact they are being withdrawn from service, I possibly never will!), but the 300 kids that appear in the video have been a bit more fortunate in this regard: KLM took them to a pre-screening session, that included plenty of special effects, of Disney's latest animated film "Planes" on board of a parked MD-11 aircraft.

It must have been a really amazing experience!
