TAP's Retro Safety Video

Not only the safety video evokes TAP's history, also this A330 painted in this magnificent retro livery

Before being a small peripheral European country, Portugal was, for centuries at the head of a vast overseas Empire.

In fact, the Portuguese Empire lasted long enough (it was not dissolved until 1974) to see the dawn of the commercial aviation era. And, during the first decades of its existence as a flag carrier of Portugal, it was the focus of TAP.

The Portuguese airline has now combined the memories of that period with the current creative safety video fad to produce the following award-winning historical recreation, filmed at the aviation museum in Sintra, Portugal.
