When I get on board an aircraft one of the first things I always do is look for the in-flight magazine and the pages with the route maps and the airline's fleet. After all this was, many years ago, one of my first points of contact with the commercial aviation World...

So, no wonder, when I opened my email inbox today and found the following infographic about Etihad Airways' fleet quickly caught my eye.

As someone following the airline industry I am used to reading and processing all sorts of figures about aircraft types: size, range, speed...well, here is a nice way to visualize what all those figures mean...
