How to de-ice an aircraft before it can fly: the view from your seat

Now that it seems that spring is finally coming to the Northern Hemisphere, after a really long and cold winter (at least in many parts of it!), I thought it was time to recover some pictures I took a few weeks ago while the plane I was in was waiting to take off from Moscow Domodedovo airport.

If you are used to flying in cold climates, you can skip the rest of this post, as you won't see anything you hadn't seen before, but I thought it might be of interest to the many that, like me, had never see an aircraft's de-icing from that close!
