New podcast episode with Mukund Karanjikar, founder and CEO of CleanJoule

Mukund Karanjikar is the founder and CEO of one of the most interesting sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) startups currently on its way to market.

Far from riding a fad, CleanJoule has been quietly in the making for over a decade and a half. This Utah-based firm is developing a proprietary process to develop a super-performing SAF capable of delivering more joules of energy per unit of mass than other more traditional methods.

What’s more, CleanJoule has also set its sights on the burgeoning space market, as its fuel, the company claims, will be able to propel space rockets further and with more payload than the current alternatives.

After raising $50 million in a Series A round from several prominent investors, including one of the largest airline investors in the world, CleanJoule is perfecting its industrial process with a view to roll out large scale production towards the end of this decade. How does CleanJoule’s technology work and what sets it apart from other pathways? How does CleanJoule plan to bring it to market?

Tune in for an interesting conversation with Mukund about this promising new SAF technology and the role it can play, not just here on Earth, but also beyond the boundaries of our planet!
