New podcast episode with Scott Drennan, Otto Aviation’s President and COO
Otto Aviation had long been on my radar. By 2020, its first aircraft prototype, the eye-catching, teardrop-shaped Celera 500L already proved the feasibility of applying laminar flow principles to drastically improve the aerodynamic efficiency of aircraft.
More than 50 test flights and some $100M in venture capital investment later, Otto Aviation has re-emerged with a new aircraft concept, the Phantom 3500, which applies most learnings from the Celera 500L to a clean-sheet ultra-efficient super mid sized business jet.
Our guest on this episode of the podcast is industry veteran Scott Drennan, Otto Aviation’s President and COO, who shares his insights about the Phantom 3500 project, including some truly astonishing facts and figures about this aircraft’s projected operational performance and the fuel and emissions savings it is expected to deliver.
We also talk, of course, about the financial and operational aspects of the Phantom 3500 project and Otto Aviation’s road to market.
Tune in to listen learn it all about Otto Aviation’s plan to disrupt the executive jet industry!
