The geopolitics of the Middle East have changed beyond recognition the last couple of years.

Who would have said just a few years ago that we would see Israeli airliners landing in the emirates of the Gulf?

One of the most tangible and immediate consequences of the normalisation of diplomatic relations between Israel and a number of Arab countries is the expansion of the number of destinations that can be reached directly from Israel.

After Saudi Arabia recently approved overflights, the Sultanate of Oman is the last remaining link for Israeli airlines like El Al, Arkia and Israir to start flying to Asia the direct way, rather than through the circuitous route they have to follow today.
