Felipe Varon is the founder of Varon, a startup that aims to bring the advance air mobility revolution to Latin America.

Starting in its home country of Colombia, Varon is partnering with a number of key players in this industry in order to build an ecosystem from the ground up, from vertiports to fleet operations.

In his decades of experience in aviation, incluiding drone research, Felipe has come to the realization that eVTOLs offer one of the best ways to leap frog some of the region’s most acute transportation problems, from congested and dangerous roads to the lack of adequate infrastructure.

On this episode we review Felipe’s plans for the establishment of an eVTOL network that will start catering to the tourism industry in Colombia to gradually expand its scope to other industries and countries in the region.
