Turkish Airlines network outside of Istanbul, on The Points Guy

Turkish Airlines is one of the most prolific airlines in the world when it comes to routes and destinations. In fact, no other airline flies to more destinations and new routes are constantly being added.

What is often less covered, though, is that Turkish Airlines also deploys quite a lot of capacity outside of its Istanbul hub, at least during the summer months, when Turkey becomes a magnet for tourists and returning Turkish expatriates.

In this article for The Points Guy I checked which are these other airports that for a few months every year get Turkish Airlines nonstop flights to Europe and the Middle East.

The list is much longer than I expected and some of the busiest destinations in the Turkish Riviera, such as Anatalya, get a sizable number of routes and frequencies, but also other cities such as Trabzon, Izmir, Bodrum, Dalaman, Adana or Gaziantep, among others, get a not insignificant number of direct air links.
