New podcast episode: electric planes, with David Doral

Our guest today on the podcast is David Doral, founder of Dante Aeronautical, a Spanish startup that has set up shop in Australia with the goal of contributing to the advance of electric aviation.

Although it has developed its own clean-sheet electric aircraft concept, for the time being, Dante Aeronautical is taking a more gradual route and has found a particularly interesting niche in the seaplane market.

David’s firm has become a specialist in the retrofitting of small seaplanes and other regional aircraft with hybrid-electric power trains and an interesting aspect of their operations is that they are cooperating closely with a number of airlines in Australia and Spain to make these projects a reality.
