Video: (ex-)Flybe Dash 8 slowly slams into ERJ-145

This is a bit of unusual scene.

It happened a couple of days ago at Aberdeen airport, in Scotland. The plane you see sliding in the images is a Bombardier Dash 8 that was being prepared for storage, since its last operator, Flybe, went bankrupt last March. While the one it crashes into is a Loganair ERJ-145 (Loganair is a Scottish regional airline)

There is not much to comment, really, just watch the frantic efforts of the staff to try to prevent what it finally happened. Luckily it looks like none of the two suffered serious damage.

A sharp reminder of the fact that safety procedures can be cumbersome, but are there for a reason!
