LOT showcases Boeing 787 and 737 MAX in special livery

LOT 100 years independence livery

A few days ago we showed here the look of LOT's new special livery celebrating 100 years of Polish independence.

Well, it turns out it is 2 aircraft and not just one that Poland's (literal) flag carrier has designated to mark the occasion: a Boeing 787-9 and a Boeing 737 MAX.

The two aircraft, new from the factory, flew to Poland from the United States and were escorted, upon arrival to Polish airspace by F-16 fighter jets of the Polish Air Force, giving us these amazing pictures.

European spotters beware! LOT's "Independence" Boeing 737 MAX is going to start service immediately and the following cities are in its upcoming schedule: London (Heathrow), Madrid, Barcelona, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Moscow, Frankfurt, and Zurich.
