On CNN: Saint Helena Airport Revisited

A few days ago, CNN re-published an old article of mine about Saint Helena airport and the prospects it opened for the economy of this remote British territory.

At the time if was first published, the airport inauguration was expected to be imminent, and with it, commercial service to Africa and Europe. As you may already know, things did not turn out to be like this.

Serious wind shear problems complicated and delayed the entry into service of the new airport. The article has now been updated to reflect this fact, as well as the recent opening, finally!, of regular commercial service to South Africa, this time by SA Airlink.
