Now that long haul low cost travel is in fashion it is a good time to remember that Quebec-based airline Air Transat has been a pioneer of sorts in this field already for quite a few years, offering relatively low fare flights between Canada and several European destinations.

Well, Air Transat is back in the news this week because it just presented a new livery.

Air Transat's new image, that preserves its signature stars, is not radically different from the previous one, but it has lighter shades of blue with a touch of grey at the edge. The latter is an intended reference to the airline's heritage, as it turns 30 this year (a rather long time in this super competitive industry!).
