UTair presents its new livery
Russian airline UTair has just unveiled its new livery and corporate image.
A makeover that was long overdue. It follows other initiatives such as the modernization of the airline's website and its new mobile app, that has seen an increase in sales of 300% (UTair's head of mobile explained this case earlier this month at Travel Tech Conference Russia, an event with which we collaborated)
Although little known abroad, as its network is mostly domestic, UTair is Russia's third largest airline. The airline has made a remarkable comeback after a crisis in 2014 that force it to go through a very thorough restructuring, that included the halving of its fleet.
The rebranding is not yet complete, as its website still displays mainly the old logo and image, but a few pictures of the first aircraft with the new livery, presented today at Vnukovo airport in Moscow, have also emerged.
