Vueling organizes an in-flight fashion model catwalk
It is well known that taly is a fashion-obsessed country, so what a better way to highlight Vueling's increasing commitment to the Italian market (it is now the second largest airline by capacity at Rome Fiumicino airport) than having an in-flight fashion show?
The unusual event, that took part on board an Airbus A320 flying between Rome Fiumicino and Catania (Sicily) was part of a project called #TheSummerExpedition, that takes 15 popular fashion bloggers through some of Sicily's most picturesque spots.
Five models walked along the aisle wearing outfits that had been previously voted by Vueling's and Stradivarius (the Spanish fashion brand co-sponsoring the show) social media fans.
As eye cataching as it might be, when it comes to organizing in-flight performances this was not a first for Vueling, though...a while ago it had its own in-flight music concert too.
