Norwegian gets renowned explorers onboard as it expands across continents
You may already be familiar with the portraits that decorate some of Norwegian's aircraft.
Now, the novelty is that for the first time, two historical figures from outside the Nordic region are going to be added to the fleet.
Maybe in a hint to the Norwegian low cost carrier's long-haul ambitions Christoper Columbus is going to decorate the tail of a new Boeing 737-800...
...while Juan Sebastián Elcano, who completed the first circumnavigation of the globe (Actually Elcano was second-in-command, but expedition leader Magalhaes was killed during the trip, so he got to pick this honour).
A bit of exploration-era epic up in the air...
