Rossiya Airlines, Aeroflot's Saint Petersburg-based subsidiary, is getting a step closer to full integration with Russia's flag carrier.

From now on Rossiya will be managed pretty much as an Aeroflot unit, with full integration of back-office, reservation systems and even adopting Aeroflot's code "SU" (Rossiya is to drop its own "FV" code).

Although Aeroflot's press note speaks of a "step" towards full integration, as far as we are aware the Rossiya brand will continue to exist, though, together with the group's other brands, like the just re-launched "Aurora" in Russia's Far East and the up-and-coming low cost subsidiary, Dobrolet.
