A World of air routes superbly visualized

The patterns of global air traffic are a near endless source of amazing visualizations, but this one, by Martin Grandjean comes at the very top.

It shows in an elegant way the main clusters of air travel and the connections between them, a sort of proxy for the economic links between the World's different regions.
